We had a great opportunity to have a friend of ours do a photo shoot to take Kate's 1 year pictures. We haven't been very energetic about taking Kate to places like Wal-Mart or Sear's for pictures, because it's quite an expense if all goes well, and even more of an expense if Kate's nap time or something is out of whack, causing her to be cranky and not so smiley for the camera. So given this, we jumped at the opportunity to have Nicole come to our house and snap some pictures - actually to Uncle Wes and Aunt Amber's house so we could take advantage of the beautiful wrap-around porch and also so our nephew, William, could have some shots done now that he's TWO years old! What better place to have little ones' pictures taken than in their own home, where they're most comfortable. We all spend so much time at Wes and Amber's new house, Kate's nearly as comfortable there as here at home. Here's just a small sampling of the beautiful pictures Nicole took...
